De collectie Tim Holtz Distress Ink stempelkussens van Ranger zijn kleurvaste dye inks waarmee je realistische vintage effecten creëert op papier, foto’s, hout en canvas. Dye inks staan bekend als transparante inkten op waterbasis. Distress reageert daarnaast ook met water. De inkt blijft reageren zodra je water toevoegt, ook uren of dagen later. Spuit water voor prachtige aquarel effecten of laat verschillende kleuren Distress Ink in elkaar overlopen met behulp van een blending tool.
De intense kleur blijft behouden, ook na verhitting of contact met water. Dit maakt de stempelinkt geschikt voor meerdere toepassingen, zoals watercolor en embossing. Distress leent zich uitstekend voor mixed media projecten waarbij je diverse materialen en technieken combineert. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan Distress Oxide, paint en stains die allemaal zijn ontwikkeld in dezelfde kleuren zodat je ze goed kunt combineren.
